Which hybrid inverter is best in India?
"Best" changes with the load. A 3 kW home and an 11 kW three-phase workshop do not have the same correct answer. These are the four specifications that decide it, in the order they matter.

Battery voltage is the specification most buyers ignore and then regret.
- 24 V systems suit 2 kW to 5 kW. Fewer batteries, lower entry cost, simpler for a home with a modest backup requirement.
- 48 V systems suit 6 kW and above. Higher voltage means lower current for the same power, which means thinner cables, less heat and less loss.

Which batteries can a hybrid inverter use?
A hybrid inverter locked to one battery brand is a long-term cost trap: you are tied to that brand's pricing for the life of the system.

What operating modes should a hybrid inverter have?
Solar-first, grid-first and battery-first operating modes are user-selectable. Those three are standard across the category. The mode that is not standard is TOD bypass.
